Excellence in education

'Henley-in-arden

excellence for, and from, every pupil'

About Us

Welcome to Henley-in-Arden School

Nestled in the heart of rural Warwickshire, Henley-in-Arden school is one of the educational world’s hidden gems. Our unique location sits alongside our bespoke approach to the educational experience we provide. I know that every child is unique, and therefore our staff are dedicated and committed to ensuring each of our students progresses not only in their subject, but develops their empathy, understanding of the wider world and has a wealth of experiences to enrich their lives and widen their post-secondary school opportunities.

We ensure students achieve results, year on year, that will allow them to take the next steps in their lives. This is because our ambition for our students is only matched for the ambition we have for our school. Our teaching is inspirational and creative, developing the knowledge and the skills students need to achieve well in examinations and beyond. Many of our students go on to join prestigious sixth form providers and Russell Group Universities, and we offer a comprehensive careers programme to ensure students are supported to make the best choices for them.

Being a smaller school doesn’t stop us providing a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including many very successful sports clubs.  Particularly noteworthy is our emphasis on the Performing Arts.  A quick glance at our website’s alumni page reveals our strengths in drama, dance and music with students graduating from top specialist schools including the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts and Guild Hall; our students go on to fantastic successes, for example recent ex-pupils Connor Ball (star of The Vamps) and Poldark actor Alexander Sebastian Morris.

As we continue to grow as a school and a community, we welcome prospective parents to contact us if they are interested in seeing first-hand the ambition, drive and dedication we instil in our students.

I would like to thank staff, students and the community for working hard to make Henley-In-Arden school a place in which we are proud to work and learn.
